Our Pet Chickens
We got some chickens about two months ago
and we have six of them. Their names are Suzy,
Lucy, Annie, Gracie, Amelia Earhart, and last
but not least is Penelope.
We made chick cupcakes one day and
were so cute and yummy. They are very easy
to make and I thought they were so fun!
These are some pictures of them when they are a little older.
This was their very first time outside.
They loved it!
We like having chickens. We take turns getting them their food and water each day.
They are really messy! They poop a bunch and everywhere!
We can't wait til we start getting eggs!

Our First Dog!
These are a few pictures of our first dog! His name was Buddy. He was a sweet dog and I loved him! He was part Corgi and part Papillion.
He was soft and loved the snow. He ran in circles in the snow, it was funny.
We are sad because he got hit by a car. We have a new dog and her name is Jenna. I will tell you about her on another post.
Field Trip to Cades Cove
We went to Cades Cove the other day with our cousins! Cades Cove is a place in the Smokey Mountains where we can learn about our history.
Here are some of the things we saw:
- cabins from the 1800s
- animals like turkeys, deer and geese
- churches from the 1800s
- the old grist mill
- canilever barns
- graveyard
We got to walk around with our cousins and play with them at Cades Cove. The old mill still works and we got see it grinding corn into cornmeal. The water makes the wheel turn and that gives it power.
